Good news, Palm Beach County! 🎉 The Florida's Turnpike & Boynton Beach Boulevard Interchange Improvements Project is complete!

Here's what's new for drivers heading through:
✔️ Widened northbound exit ramp with a two-lane configuration
✔️ New turn lane from westbound Boynton Beach Boulevard to northbound Turnpike
✔️ Upgraded traffic signals, drainage, and roadway lighting
✔️ Fresh signage and pavement markings for better visibility

The result? Smoother traffic flow and a safer trip through one of Palm Beach County's busiest corridors. We're glad this one's in the books.

This photograph was found with the following construction update: "All steel work has now been completed on the bridge. Construction of the [concrete] bridge decks has been completed up to the river on both sides, with only the river spans to be completed."

The Central Polk Parkway keeps moving, and still TWO years ahead of schedule! 🌟 Since our last update, crews have been wrapping up the bridge deck pours and continuing to lay asphalt throughout the corridor, while simultaneously installing lights, traffic signals, and tolling infrastructure.

What this project means for our community:
· A more direct route for drivers and trucks, supporting Central Florida’s supply chain.
· A new interchange with turn lanes and a signalized intersection at U.S. 17 for easier access.
· Wrong-way driver detection technology on all interchange ramps.

Delivering this project ahead of schedule reflects strong coordination, smart planning, and a commitment to keeping Polk County moving forward.

🚧 There’s exciting progress happening along Florida’s Turnpike from north of Southern Boulevard to north of Okeechobee Boulevard in Palm Beach County!

Right now, crews are installing deep foundations that will help support a new bridge. Think of these foundations like sturdy roots that keep everything strong and stable for years to come.

• It anchors the bridge to strong soil deep underground
• Helps prevent future settling or roadway issues
• Creates a long‑lasting, reliable foundation
