Putting away the skating rink for the summer. While picking up we found many items left by residents. If you would like your items back please visit the fire station and speak with one of our on-duty members. Items not claimed will be considered a donation to the rink and we will bring them out again next winter.
We enjoyed seeing the fun and good times everyone had this year and we hope to do it again next year!

You've changed your clocks ... but have you checked your alarms? This is a great time to check the manufacturing date on the back of your smoke and CO alarms.

should be replaced after 10 years, and alarms should be replaced after 5, 7, or 10 years depending on the make and model. If they're still in their useful lifespan, replace the alkaline batteries in alarms that use them.

If not, choose replacements with a sealed, long-life battery from a well-known national brand with the mark of an independent testing lab like UL or Intertek/ETL. Smoke alarms that meet UL Standard 217, 8th edition or later, use the latest multi-criteria technology to reduce nuisance alarms caused by cooking smoke.

What a turnout!!! The Boylston Firefighters couldn’t be more happy with the success of the skating rink!
Shout out to the Boylston Municipal Light Department for turning on the power and lighting and to the community for helping out with hanging string lights and shoveling snow.
The combined effort has made this a success and we invite everyone to come out and continue the fun.

SKATING IS OPEN!!!
It took a little longer than expected but the snow is clear and the ice is in good shape.

Boylston Police have been dispatched to the area of 624 Main Street after a family member raised safety concerns. K-9 and drone units have been requested to assist with a search.

At this time, there have been no threats made toward the public. No detailed description of the male party is available at this time.

Today we cleared the snow. Lined the skating rink and filled it with water. It’s up to Mother Nature now to give us some cold.
