💙 A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our Coaching & Admin Team! 💙
Coach Demond shared with me how incredibly well our coaching and administrative staff handled the emergency situation at last night’s game, and I felt it was important to recognize their quick thinking, teamwork, and professionalism.
When an emergency occurred, everyone stepped up:
👏 Coach Burnett immediately called 911 and remained calm, clear, and informative with the dispatcher.
👏 Mr. Cunningham met EMS and helped ensure they could get where they needed to be quickly.
👏 Coach Keeton brought the Gator out and positioned it to provide privacy and help keep students and spectators from seeing what was happening.
👏 Mrs. Railsback accompanied the student to the hospital and supported him throughout the situation.
Coach Demond was especially impressed by how everyone worked together and said it was a true example of how successful our AEP training has been.
Emergencies are never easy, but being prepared, staying calm, and knowing what to do can make all the difference. I am incredibly proud of our staff for putting that training into action and taking care of our students when it mattered most.
