We even got a bonus craft to go along with one of the Lanterns.

Think you’re not crafty enough for a Homemade Halloween? Think again!

The library has everything you need. With our Chompsaw cardboard saw and newest pattern, you can make a pumpkin or Frankenstein candy bucket.

Or check out the sewing machine to make a quick and easy felt pumpkin costume.

Need more direction? Sign up for adult craft to make a lovely pumpkin votive holder, or for Family Craft to make a spell book!

Always ready with a smile, Laura is another member of our amazing team of Senior Library Assistants!

You've definitely seen her at the front desk. You also may know Laura as the skilled facilitator of our 3rd Tuesday Book Club. Did you know that she is one of the people who is responsible for our beautiful book displays up front? If you found a book you liked there, make sure to thank Laura next time you see her!

She’s one of the most encouraging people on staff. Laura won’t correct your grammar, but she will kindly help you edit your next report or novella.

For our next installment of the Meet the Staff series, we have one of our team of fabulous Senior Library Assistants, Shijesta!

You can’t miss Shijesta at the front desk! Her wit and kindness are always on display. AND she is an avid knitter! Most of the tops she wears are ones that she’s made herself, with patterns she designs on her own. They are one of a kind, just like her! If she’s not working, you can find her quilting, weaving or at the Knitting Club (which we host on Wednesdays).

Shijesta is also our resident AI expert and computer whiz, helping us make our website more accessible.
