Our first annual Homemade Salsa Showdown is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15th! Enter your salsa by 1:30pm. Winner receives this prize basket loaded with goodies from Bronson’s Marketplace - Bowman and Simply Yours Floral!

Tasting begins at 2pm! Cast your votes using coins to boost your favorite salsa. Want to sabotage the competition? Drop paper money in the jar to knock down their points. The salsa with the most points takes the crown!

🌶️ Introducing the Library’s Spice Club🌿
Each Monday of the month, pick up a free “take and make” spice kit. Each kit includes a featured spice, background and traditional uses of the spice, and a low-cost recipe or two.

Our first spice is smoked paprika 🌶️

Available Monday, October 5th. One packet per family. While supplies last.

The Kitchen in the Children’s Library got an upgrade today! Kiddos now have a new dishwasher and cupboard hutch available for their food service imaginative play!

🥨 It’s amazing how many chefs, bakers, and future restauranteurs we have in our community!

🍩 Big thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and caregivers who have returned play food that made its way out of the library into homes. 😂 That’s the way it goes, and we so appreciate you bringing it back to the Library for all to enjoy.

Kitchen and loads more imaginative play is available at the Library. No library membership is required (but we encourage all to get a membership to the Library!)

This week at the Bowman Regional Public Library!

Cultivating Calm in the Library Backyard green space (weather permitting) - Tuesday, September 8th - our community drop-in, movement and mindfulness experience for adults. 10 am. Wear comfy clothes and bring your water.

DJ Disco Jam - Tuesday, September 9th - 11 am with DJ Laurie and the Library disco ball. For kiddos and their caretakers. We dance and jam to Chicken/Banana and other extremely ear wormy beats.

Bowman! Our monthly Art Scavenger Hunt through downtown Bowman. Clues drop on the Library's FB and IG stories. Find a piece of art that you can keep. Marie Snavely is our artist this month!
