Our friends in the Navy are training again, and they can make much louder noises than we can. Please see below from their NOISE ALERT. Yes, sometimes we can hear them all the way down here.

Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division is conducting range testing Wednesday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that may produce very loud noise in communities surrounding Naval Support Facility Dahlgren.

NOISE ALERT!
Friends and neighbors around Fort A.P. Hill may hear a little more from the installation this week, as heavy demolition will occur JUN 9-12.
Additionally, we will have an increase in rotary-wing aircraft all week long.
These activities have the potential to create loud noise and/or vibrations- low cloud cover could amplify these effects.

It's June and the busy season of training has begun! This week training will consist of light and heavy demolition, and increased rotary wing aircraft.

This training has the potential to create elevated noise and/or vibration around the installation. Low cloud cover could amplify these effects.
