Otsego Park - Wood County Park District

Otsego Park - Wood County Park District Access and overlook the Maumee River at the oldest Wood County Park District park. The oldest of the Wood County Parks, Otsego Park was established in 1937.

Highlights of Otsego Park: Thompson Stone Hall, restrooms, pollinator gardens, playgrounds, a river walk, paddle craft launch, river fishing, and excellent sunset views. On the Maumee River, the 21-acre park includes 10 acres of islands. It is home to the Thompson Stone Hall and the Otsego Canoe Livery. Considered by many to be the most picturesque of the Wood County Parks, its scenerey and river access attract many visitors.

The entrance for the Otsego fishing access from River Road is closed due to the hazardous snow and ice conditions on the ramp. The entrance is closed by a chain with reflectors and no parking signs across the drive.

Park goers can still access the area from the main parking lot and walking the trail.

9/24/25 Parking Lot Updates!

⏩ Sept 24th/25th ALL OTSEGO LOTS WILL BE CLOSED. The building at Otsego Park is open to accommodate walkers.

⏩ The lots will be opened back up on Sept 26th, weather depending.

⏩The main Otsego Parking lot will be closed to mill to prep for new asphalt on Sept 22th-23rd. Our west parking lot will remain open.

⏩ Sept 24th/25th ALL OTSEGO LOTS WILL BE CLOSED.

UPDATE: 3/20/25 Bathrooms are back up & operational! Thank you everyone!

At Otsego Park we are repairing some of our internal piping in our restrooms. So restrooms in Otsego Thompson Stone Hall will be closed staring Monday, March 17th until Thursday, March 20th.

There will be one portable restroom available on site during this time. Thank you for your understanding!
