📌Attention educators - take advantage of this fun opportunity to add a new lesson to your curriculum, brush up on your science fun facts, and make connections with other educators and conservation professionals. There's a field trip and you are the student!

🐦Early Bird registration is JUNE 5 - save $30.
Join us July 14-16, 2026 at Sauder Village Heritage Inn in Archbold, Ohio. Participants may choose to attend all three days for a total of $150 or may choose individual days at a cost of $50 per day. Fee includes meals, refreshments, and all workshop materials! Payment must be included with your registration.

🛏️You have the option to stay at the Heritage Inn at Sauder Village or the Sauder Village Campground. This is a separate cost from your workshop registration. You are responsible for making your reservation.

Congratulations to this year's winners of the National Association of Conservation Districts and Wood SWCD poster contest. A total of 55 students from Wood County schools submitted hand-drawn and digital posters. These winning entries will be submitted to the Ohio Federation of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Auxiliary contest held in July.

🌱Thank you to the educators for including this opportunity in their curriculum. After all, soil is where it all begins.

We have 50 more snack bags packed and ready to go. Trail mix, chips, pretzels, some hard candy, a granola bar, a Slim Jim, an apple (not pictured), some water, a packet of glass cleaner, an air freshener, and a telescoping magnetic flashlight to grab that bolt that fell. If you're out kicking up dust tomorrow, keep an eye out for Jaylie and Beth in a little gray truck!

🌱Wood County planting and field work is just as scattered as the soil types and recent rain showers. Beth and Jaylie are out and about surprising some local farmers with snacks and supplies as they work to beat the next rain event.
