Measles is highly contagious, but vaccination is a safe and effective way to protect yourself, your family, and your community.

✅ The MMR vaccine helps protect against measles and prevent the spread of disease. With the complete vaccine series, it is 97% effective.
✅ Children should receive the recommended MMR vaccine. The first dose is given at 12 months of age, followed by a booster dose at 4 years old.
✅ Adults who were not vaccinated as children may also need protection. Please reach out to your local health department (LHD) or primary care provider (P*P) to determine if you need an additional dose.
✅ Staying up to date on vaccinations helps protect those who are most vulnerable.
