BGVFD participated in the Town of Bowling Green's Christmas in Toyland parade. Rudolph 1, Chief 10, Utility 1, Wagon 1 and Tanker 1 got all shined up and festive for the holiday season. And our hard work and efforts paid off...we were able to bring home 1st place in the motorized category!

At Tuesday night's membership meeting, September 16, 2025, three deserving members were promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. W. Christopher Dodd was promoted to Lt. 16, and will oversee daily firefighter operations. Daniel Queen was promoted to Lt. 17 and will over see probationary members, ticket to ride processes and new member relationships. Gerald Andrews was promoted to Lt.18 and will oversee daily EMS operations. BGVFD has seen tremendous growth in membership over the last year and these new promotions will help oversee the daily operations of the volunteer crew members. We would like to congratulate each of them on their promotions. If you see them out and about give them a shout of congrats! 🚒🚑
