We LOVE to celebrate our Employees! Last week, Col. Hidalgo recognized our Administrative Professionals, Mrs. Jackson, Ms. Lee, Mrs. Walker, Ms. Waller, and Chief Tate - along with the CDF Employee of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of 2026, Detention Specialist Jasmine Nave!
This week we are in full celebration mode for all of our staff as it is National Correctional Employees Week and the start of National Nurses Week! We have some of the finest employees and nurses in the business! Thanks to all for all of your hard work!

At the March 10, 2026 Caroline County Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board officially recognized Colonel Paul Perry upon his retirement by adopting a resolution in his honor which concluded with the following:

"NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Caroline County Board of Supervisors hereby commends and extends its deep appreciation to Colonel Paul Perry for his 27 years of exemplary service to the citizens of Caroline County and extends its very best wishes for a long, happy, and healthy retirement."

Col. Perry and his wife, Angie, are pictured with Board members Jeff Black, Clay Forehand, Floyd Thomas, Nancy Long, Reggie Underwood, and Jeff Sili.

It was a bittersweet day at the CDF today as we celebrated the career of Col. Paul Perry, our soon to be retired Superintendent! Lots of friends and family - employees, Authority members, and many retirees - came to wish him well as he retires after 30 years in corrections! We will miss you, Paul Perry! Don’t be a stranger! 😊🥹😭👏💫🎉🇺🇸
