A new connection is opening at Jericho Park! The Jericho Park Hiker/Biker Trail officially opens to the community on Monday, September 14, creating a new route for walking, biking and enjoying the outdoors.

The approximately 2,205-foot asphalt trail connects the Jericho Park parking lot to Falling Water Court and provides improved connectivity within the surrounding community.

Trail Details:
* Location: Jericho Park, 9510 Laurel-Bowie Road
* Length: Approximately 2,205 feet
* Width: Approximately 10 feet
* Surface: Asphalt
* Hours: Sunrise to sunset

Take a stroll, hop on a bike and check out this new addition to the City’s trail network!

It's that time of year again. Submissions are due December 5.

Calling all Bowie students in grades K–12! Share your creativity in the City of Bowie's annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art Contest. This year's theme, "Reimagine the Dream: Where Do We Go From Here," invites students to explore Dr. King's legacy through visual or performing arts. We truly enjoyed this year's 2026 City of Bowie Police Department's, National Night Out. National Night Out gives the community an opportunity to engage with our local law enforcement, neighbors, organizations and local businesses. He was last seen wearing a blue and orange tie dye shirt blue shorts with a white stripe on them and brown shoes with a blue backpack. last seen in the 14800 blk of pepper tree dr.
