Thank you to Kelly Jones and Nationwide Insurance for the grain bin tube and auger along with the excellent training provided last night. Crews from Jefferson Township Fire Dept. -Greene Co., New Jasper Township Fire Department, and Port William-Liberty Township Joint Fire And EMS District were able to train both in classroom and hands on with National Education Center for Agricultural safety over Grain Bin rescue and safety. 3-15-24 @ 1500 Jefferson TWP responded to residential fire on Long Street. Upon arrival to scene crews found heavy smoke showing. Thank you to all mutual aid departments for quick responses and assistance on scene. Mutual aid received from Silvercreek Township Fire/EMS Department, New Jasper Township Fire Department , Cedarville Township Volunteer Fire Department , Xenia Professional Firefighters Local 698, Port William-Liberty Township Joint Fire And EMS District, and Chief Cross Spring Valley TWP Fire Department for supplying crews with hydration resources on scene.

The Jefferson Twp. Fire Association fully supports Phillip Erwin for Twp. Trustee. He would be with out a doubt, fully dedicated to the Twp. He would work to improve not only the Fire and Ems in the community to improve response times to residents when seconds count, but also how the Twp. operates as a whole. Please support Phillip Erwin for Jefferson Twp. Trustee this Tuesday November 7th.

We will be hosting a free ice cream social this Saturday June 10 from 12-2 at the fire station. We are excited to see everyone. Come out and enjoy some ice cream, socialize, and enjoy the community garage sales.
