Today Bowbells Heavy Rescue hosted Automobile Extrication training. We also had several members from Tolley Fire & Rescue and one from Kenmare Fire Department.

Bowbells Ambulance joined us for patient care and safely removing patients after extrication.

We also got to test out our newest addition to our rescue truck, the Mighty Struts supplied to us from Norse Fire Equipment. They significantly increased stabilization time and are a great added tool in the toolbox.

It’s great to see how well neighboring departments work together and the time these volunteers spend training to better serve the communities!

Special thanks to instructor D. Howard for making the trip up to spend a couple days with us, Beard Farm & Ranch for sponsoring a meal for us all, and the City of Bowbells for allowing us to use the landfill as a training location.
