Great news!!!!!
The city has installed some new stop signs in our town. Specifically, there's a new stop sign at the intersection of Spruce Street and Highway 8 & 3. Additionally, another new stop sign has been put in place at the intersection of Pine Street and Main St / 2nd Avenue. The city has also taken the proactive step of notifying the Latah County Sheriff's Department about these new signs, ensuring they are aware of the changes and can assist in maintaining road safety in our community.

UPDATE: We have a service call for the dump station this Friday and are hoping that the RV Dump Station will be back in service this weekend.
The City would also like to sincerely apologize to those who were mistakenly accused of dumping their grey water without the hoses. We were just responding to a couple complaints.

We are changing phone services to the Ooma wifi calling, and I am trying to figure out how to transfer everything. We are waiting on the hardware to set it all up. You may need to leave a voicemail for a while we transition. Please be patient while we get through this transition.

Good afternoon Bovill!!!!
To ensure the safety of our children, there will be two 10-minute closures between Pine Street and Cedar Street. These closures will occur in the morning from 8:25 AM to 8:35 AM and in the afternoon from 2:55 PM to 3:05 PM. Please refer to the photo below for the designated area. On behalf of Bovill Elementary School, they thank you for your cooperation in observing the signs that will be posted shortly.

If you are interested in being on the council we have a seat open. There is also 2 seats open for the Fire Department Commissioners seats. I have the paperwork you need and I need to turn it in before end of day Friday August 29th, so get your candidacy paperwork filled out and brought to me asap.

I was informed today that Ziply Fiber is working on fixing the land line phone service. The estimated time will be the 16th or 18th. Can't remember the exact date.
It is very static and just plain horrible and has been for some time now.

Elections are coming up in November.
Candidate filing period is August 18th thru August 29th. Must live in city limits for the City council seats
There are 2 seats for fire commissioners and 3 seats for City Council.
If you are interested in running come see me at City Hall, I have the candidate filing forms for both fire and city
