Severe Thunderstorm Watch #2: NORTHERN MN Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect now until 8 PM this evening for NW MN to St. Louis County / I-35 corridor. Other Watch for NW WI remains in effect still.

It’s pretty foggy in areas. Please make sure your headlights are set to on and not auto. Drive safe!

Dense fog will continue through much of the morning before subsiding around midmorning for inland locations. Lakeshore communities may hold onto the fog until the afternoon.

Areas well away from the lake will see some dangerous heat with heat indices reaching above 90°F where heat advisories are in effect.

Chances for strong to severe storms arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday morning mainly in portions of north-central and northeast Minnesota. Potential storm hazards include damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, half dollar size hail, and locally heavy rainfall. Monitor the forecast for the latest updates.
