🚲🛴 NEW SAFETY UPDATES AT THE GROVE 🌳
As The Grove continues to grow as a destination, the Village of Bourbonnais has adopted updated park regulations to help improve safety for all visitors.

After reviewing residential concerns and evaluating park usage, the Village has implemented new restrictions aimed at reducing conflicts between pedestrians and wheeled devices such as bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, skateboards, and similar recreational equipment (*NOTE: THIS DOES NOT IMPACT OUR ADA FRIENDS OR STROLLERS - RECREATION ONLY).

Effective immediately:
✅ Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, skateboards, and similar devices are prohibited throughout The Grove grounds and pedestrian walking paths.
✅ The Skate & Event Plaza (Skate Park) remains open for the intended use of skateboards, scooters, bicycles, and similar recreational equipment.
✅ Visitors are encouraged to utilize any of the four available bike racks conveniently located throughout The Grove when visiting the park or attending events.

These changes are intended to create a safer experience for families, children, seniors, and all park visitors while still preserving designated spaces for recreational activities.

Please note that the police-enforced violations may result in warnings, requests to leave The Grove, or ordinance citations when necessary.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we continue working to keep The Grove safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all.
