Please join us in congratulating Patrolman Joshua Reel on his new role with the Bourbonnais Police Department!

Ptlm Reel brings more than 10 years of combined law enforcement experience, all here in Kankakee County.

A BBCHS graduate, Ptlm Reel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and is also a certified School Resource Officer.

We’re excited to welcome Officer Reel to our team and know his experience, knowledge and commitment to serving our area will make him a great addition to the Bourbonnais Police Department.

Food Truck Fest is happening TODAY! 🌮🎶🍔 We’re excited to see everyone out enjoying the festivities!

Please be aware that portions of Latham Drive will be closed from Plum Creek Drive to the Briarcliff Professional Center for the event (there is still access to all businesses). 🚧

The roadway will be promptly reopened following the conclusion of the event this evening. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we help keep everyone safe!

🍦 That’s a wrap on Cone with a Cop! 👮‍♂️💙

A big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by Dairy Queen last Friday to grab a cone and spend some time with us! We had a cool time chillin’ with our community.

A special shout-out to Bourbonnais DQ for generously providing the free cones, and to Patrolmen Cavender, Ritter, and Lorek for hanging out and making the evening such a fun one!
