Our next eco-restoration day is tomorrow, Saturday, May 2. Are you in? ☺️🌱

Let’s meet at 9:45 at Island View Parking Lot, Kankakee River State Park

Bring: water, lunch/snack, appropriately layered work clothes including long sleeves and long pants

Knee-high waterproof boots are not strictly needed but helpful for getting in/out of the boat to go across to the island and back

We should have pretty good spring-like weather. A little light rain is predicted before then, but not enough to affect our crossing. The river height and current are high but stable right now and should be very slowly receding.

Important: RSVP to [email protected] if you are a Yes or Maybe

The river has been very slowly returning to normal flow rates. It seems we’re finally done with winter. Unfortunately the ticks have been out for a while already so be sure to protect yourself
