Historically, KCRW has hosted Governor Forum Breakfasts, to give interested voters the opportunity to meet, greet, and listen to Illinois gubernatorial candidates as they share their platform before the primary in March. We invite all interested voters to attend this event. You may use the QR code to register and pay. Looking forward to another tremendous event!

We had a great meeting tonight! Last month we had a fundraiser at Chicago Dough in Bourbonnais, IL for Project Headspace and Timing, a not-for-profit organization that supports veterans in their time of need, and the money is used locally. Chicago Dough donated 20% of the restaurant proceeds on Oct 23, and successfully raised $1000! Thank you Tim and Chicago Dough for partnering with us!! Accepting the donation tonight is Jason Diaz, who is a PHAT board member, and veteran of the Marines. 🇺🇸

Last week in Springfield, I was incredibly honored to be given a certificate of recognition from the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities for my continued support of policies to benefit those in our community with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This is such an important issue, and I look forward to continuing my advocacy here in Springfield!
