Last week, A Shift had the opportunity to train with Hygiene Fire Rescue on vertical ventilation.

The crews got hands-on experience cutting real roofs, putting their skills to work in a practical training environment.

We appreciate Hygiene Fire Rescue for inviting our crew out and creating an opportunity for firefighters to train together, share knowledge, and continue sharpening the skills needed on the fireground.

Thinking about babysitting? This class is designed to give youth the skills and confidence they need to safely care for children and infants.

Participants will learn:
• Basic childcare and child safety
• Managing child behavior
• Babysitting business basics
• CPR/AED and first aid
• Leadership skills

Brush 323 is built to help our crews respond to grass fires, wildland fires, and other incidents throughout our district and across Boulder County.

Tomorrow’s the day! Join us for the Boulder Rural Fire Rescue Open House from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM for one of our favorite days of the year.

We’ll have free hamburgers and hot dogs, live rescue demonstrations, a helicopter landing, station tours, bounce houses, face painting, a dunk tank, emergency response partners, and activities for all ages. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and come spend the day with us. We can’t wait to see you tomorrow!
