In the last few months our team ran an excellent campaign that I hope has changed how many in the county view the power and potential of the office of Clerk and Recorder to address political inequity. I'm proud of what our team did, and I can promise that despite the loss, I will continue to use my energy for positive change in the future.

Unfortunately the campaign still has some bills to pay due to its unexpected end. If you could chip in $5, $10, $27, or anything else you feel you can spare to help me put this campaign to rest, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone! The Boulder County Assembly was this past Saturday and, unfortunately, I did not make the ballot. The threshold I needed to reach was 207.6 votes and I received a heart-wrenching 207 votes. My opponent, Molly Fitzpatrick, will run through the primary and general election unopposed, and will almost certainly be the next Boulder County Clerk and Recorder. I know the office is in good hands with Molly, and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to speak with the public about the potential this office has to reduce political inequality in our county for people who currently are not as privileged in their ability to participate in the political process.
I want to thank all of you for your support and dedication over the last few months, it is an honor to run for public office and to talk about big ideas. The work doesn't stop with the end of this campaign, and I look forward to continue my public service.

In honor of today's actions in solidarity with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, I wanted to post this article about the Supreme Court case which solidified students' right to free political speech. As citizens we have a responsibility to make our voices heard, even when it's difficult. I am overcome with pride to see so many young people doing just that, today.

Thank you to everyone who attended caucus last night, spoke on my behalf, and participated in our representational democracy.

And a special thanks to all the delegates who will go to the county assembly on March 24th to vote for down ticket candidates like myself! I am excited for the next steps in our campaign!

Caucuses begin in just a couple hours! Have you pre-registered online at bocodems.org and found your caucus location? Make sure to do that right away!

Whoever is running the precinct will ask for a certain number of delegates to run based on who they caucused for for governor. You'll have the opportunity to nominate yourself and then everyone in the caucus will vote on it.

Delegates will then go to the county assembly on March 24th to vote for down ticket candidates like me, Raffi Mercuri.

So, if you want to see my name on the ticket for the primary in June, make sure to show up to caucus tonight and make sure to run to be a county assembly delegate!
