Nala is a Belgian Malinois from Mexico. Her partner, Sergeant Proctor, did most of her training here in Montana. Nala is certified in explosive detection. She’s worked everything from bomb threats and football games to demonstrations and concerts.

Reminder: don't drive tired!
Last week, Trooper Lange and Trooper Link responded to a crash near Melrose on Interstate 15 after the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle crossed all four lanes of traffic, went through two fences, and came to rest over a culvert. Luckily, there were no life-threatening injuries.
