We heard you were wondering what rangers have been up in a recent month... Spoiler: it’s a lot! In addition to waving at you on the trail, two of our rangers became wildland firefighters, we presented a Citizen Award, and gave programs about fire ecology, prairies, moose, history, fishing, beavers and deep space!

Raccoons rangers wanted to take home: 3 (I mean, look at them! Instead, two are being rehabilitated and one was reunited with mom)

Turkeys that gobbled back when gobbled at by rangers: 1 (that’s good luck)
Trucks Stuck on Flagstaff: 2 (that’s not good luck)
Motorcycle crash: 1
Car through Fence: 1
Cars drifting into oncoming traffic: 1

Burglary: 1 (Rangers assisted the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office in apprehending the suspect)
