Earlier this fall there were some very serious incidents in which BVSD students were hit while crossing Baseline Road near 95th Avenue.

Tuesday evening, Student Moment guest – Willow Fletemeyer, an 8th grader at Nevin Platt Middle School, along with her family and neighbors– decided to take action to help protect students. They created ‘Take it to Make it’ crosswalk flags, promoted safe practices, and wrote about her experience in the Indian Peaks neighborhood newsletter – the Stroll. Way to go Willow!
