Congratulations to Sergeant Dave Salaman on being recognized with the Superior Chamber of Commerce’s Heather Cracraft Superior Achiever Award, an honor presented to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Town of Superior and the Chamber over an extended period of time.

As the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office sergeant assigned to Superior, Dave oversees the Sheriff’s Office contracted law enforcement services and serves as a trusted leader and partner within the community. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving the residents, businesses, and visitors of Superior have made a lasting impact.

We are proud to see Dave recognized for his years of service and contributions to the community. Congratulations on this well deserved honor.

Road rage can have life changing consequences. A moment of frustration behind the wheel is never worth putting lives at risk.

We encourage everyone to slow down, show patience, and give each other grace on the road. If a road rage incident occurs in unincorporated Boulder County, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office will investigate it thoroughly and pursue appropriate enforcement action.

If you become involved in a road rage incident, call 911 immediately. Follow the directions of the emergency communications specialist, or drive to a local law enforcement agency if it is safe to do so.

Together, we can help keep our roads safe for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Operation: Fill the Pantry a success.

In just one day, our community donated 1,081 pounds of food and essential supplies to support local families through St. John the Baptist Food Bank and Harvest of Hope Pantry.

We are grateful to our residents, Sheriff’s Office staff, and volunteers who donated, organized, and supported this effort. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference for neighbors in need throughout our community.

Together, we filled the pantry and strengthened our community.

Wildfire preparedness is a year round effort, and our Fire Management Team works every day to help reduce wildfire risk across Boulder County.

Through mitigation projects, planning, education, and partnerships, the team helps strengthen our community’s resilience before a wildfire ever starts. But preparedness is a shared responsibility. The steps residents take around their homes and properties can play a critical role in improving safety and increasing the likelihood of better outcomes during a wildfire.

Join us for Operation: Fill the Pantry on Friday, June 12, from 2–7 p.m. at the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters (5600 Flatiron Pkwy, Boulder).

We're collecting:�• Unopened, unexpired non-perishable food�• Baby supplies�• Hygiene products�• Pet food

Your donations will help stock the shelves at St. John the Baptist Food Bank and Harvest of Hope Pantry, supporting neighbors in need throughout our community.

Sheriff’s Office staff and volunteers will be on hand to make drop-offs quick and easy. Every donation, big or small, helps.

Together, we can fill the pantry and support local families.
