MetroLEC TBU held a large scale training with over 130 officers to prep for the World Cup this morning at Boston Stadium.

Police Mountain Bike Training PMBT, held an MPTC three day mountain bike certification in Medway this past Wednesday-Friday. Departments from Boston PD to Babson College sent officers to the training. Great turnout with 20 officers learning the skills to better serve their communities.

Massachusetts State Police have identified the trooper killed in this morning’s incident on Route 1 in Lynnfield as Trooper Kevin Trainor.

Trooper Trainor was tragically struck by a vehicle traveling the wrong way. This is a devastating loss for his family, the Massachusetts State Police, and the entire law enforcement community.

We extend our deepest condolences to Trooper Trainor’s loved ones and all who served alongside him. Please keep them in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
