Pride at Work Eastern Massachusetts We are the Eastern Massachusetts chapter of Pride at Work, the LGBTQ constituency group of the AFL-CIO, the largest labor federation in the US.

Pride at Work Boston, Massachusetts, is a chapter of the Pride at Work. officially recognized LGBT constituency group of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations.) We organize mutual support between the organized Labor Movement and the LGBT Community for social and economic justice. We support the aspirations of all workers whether organized or not. In addit

ion to national Pride at Work, more than 20 Chapters organize at the state and local level around the country. We seek full equality for LGBT Workers in our workplaces and unions. We work towards creating a Labor Movement that cherishes diversity, encourages openness, and ensures safety & dignity. We aim to educate the LGBT Community about the benefits of a union contract for LGBT working people, and to build support and solidarity for the union movement in the LGBT community. We organize in the spirit of the union movement's historic motto, "An Injury to One is An Injury to All." We oppose all forms of discrimination on the job and in our unions based on s*x, gender identity and expression, s*xual orientation, race, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, religion or political views. We meet regularly and are always looking for new members
