Rest in power, Pierre Damas Bel. 🕊️💜

Pierre was 20 years old. A proud high school graduate with a future ahead of him. He lost his TPS protection and was forced to live under ICE ankle monitoring, treated like a criminal for seeking an education and a better life. Soon after, he was gone.

This is the human cost of policy that criminalizes immigrants instead of protecting them. Ankle monitors don’t make communities safer. They make our neighbors afraid, isolated, and unwell.
