Last Saturday, The New York Times published “Short Naps, Long Hours: How Autism Clinics Squeeze Medicaid Dollars Out of Preschoolers,” an article on applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for children with autism. Monday, June 1 at 2pm ET, join CASP for "Show Your Work: Why it Matters to Make your ABA Session Notes Count." https://www.casproviders.org/events/documentation-series-ii

Session note documentation is a critical component of ethical, clinical, and operational integrity in ABA. This webinar will cover how session notes link assessment, intervention, and outcomes. It will also explain how incomplete or poorly constructed documentation jeopardize client care, provider credibility, and organizational sustainability.

Show Your Work: Making ABA Session Notes Count examines how session notes function as the primary narrative linking assessment, intervention, and outcomes, and why incomplete or poorly constructed documentation can jeopardize client care, provider credibility, and organizational sustainability.

Participants will learn how to move beyond templated or checkbox-style documentation to produce meaningful, data-informed narratives that accurately capture clinical decision making, client progress, and any barriers to treatment.

CASP has launched a secure national benchmarking platform for autism and ABA organizations! https://www.casproviders.org/benchmarking

The new platform is an exclusive benefit for CASP members.

Autism service providers are being asked to make high-stakes decisions about growth, staffing, reimbursement, quality, and sustainability—often without reliable industry comparisons.

That's why we launched CASP Benchmarking in partnership with Dynamic Benchmarking. The initiative gives participating providers access to trusted, industry-specific data to support informed leadership decisions.

The more providers who participate, the more powerful the insights become. So get started today at https://www.casproviders.org/benchmarking.
