Homes for Families Announcement from our Board of Directors:
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that the Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close Homes for Families. Our offices closed on June 30th, 2023. We would like to thank you all for the many years of support in providing a space for families experiencing homelessness and shelter providers to come together and raise their voices for solutions to the injustice of homelessness. We truly could not have done this work close to 30 years without you, our community.

It’s been an honor to support our membership of shelter providers across the commonwealth by holding convenings and meeting spaces for thought partnership, collaboration, and training. We are so grateful for our community partners that have supported our work with their wisdom and collaboration. We’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible funding partners and individuals that believed and supported our work over many years.

Thank you all for believing in the power of family voice, ecosystem collaboration, and community. We could not have done this without you.

In community,

Homes for Families Board of Directors

🚨 Action Alert! 🚨

It's state budget season in MA, which means legislators need to hear from YOU about how you want the state to allocate its money. Take one minute and urge your reps to ensure MA families have what they need to achieve economic mobility: basic needs assistance, stable housing, tax credits, and workforce training.

While Massachusetts recognizes the right to abortion under our state constitution and abortion will remain legal, the impact of the SCOTUS decision will impact communities across the nation. HFF knows that the ability to parent in safe and sustainable communities is a core tenant of reproductive justice – housing and reproductive justice are inextricably linked.
