🔨️ What we build with matters. Mass timber offers a way to use sustainable, engineered wood in construction while reducing reliance on energy-intensive concrete and steel.

Through the first MASS Timber Assembly cohort, MassCEC is supporting eight local building teams with funding and hands-on technical assistance as they explore using mass timber in projects ranging from schools and affordable housing to public buildings.

🌲 By helping teams work through design, costs, and material sourcing, the program aims to make mass timber a more practical option for future building projects—and create new opportunities for Massachusetts’ forest products industry.
