🇺🇸 A Great Day in Charlestown! 🇺🇸

Our officers had a wonderful time participating in the 251st Bunker Hill Day Parade in Charlestown this past weekend!

Joining this annual celebration has become a proud tradition for our department, and we are honored to be part of an event that recognizes the history, sacrifice, and spirit of the community.

From marching alongside our public safety partners to seeing the incredible support from spectators lining the streets, it was a memorable day for everyone involved.

Thank you to all who helped make this year’s parade such a success. We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come!

On Tuesday, several members of the Massachusetts General Hospital Police and Security Department Honor Guard attended services to honor Massachusetts State Police Trooper Kevin Trainor. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends. Thank you for your service and sacrifice Trooper Trainor.

Last Friday, members of Project Delta visited Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to deliver Teddy Bear kits. Project Delta is a program designed to provide first responders with stuffed animals for kids in crisis situations and are delivered to departments free of charge, upon request.

Officers at MGH have used these teddy bears to assist with kids who have come into our Emergency Department after a traumatic experience or who have been with a family member in need of medical attention. They have been a great tool for officers to use and create supportive relationships and we are grateful to Project Delta for their partnership.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

On Sunday April 19, 2026, ten MGH Police and Security Officers rucked 26.2 miles in honor of fallen service members and first responders. Officers carried the names of fallen MGH officers on their 35lb-60lb rucks and took every step with them in mind.
