Boston OEM The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) oversees emergency preparedness and response programs for the City of Boston.

OEM is tasked with emergency preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation programs for the City of Boston as well as the management of projects funded by US Department of Homeland Security Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant funding on behalf of the Metro Boston Homeland Security Region (MBHSR).

Boston middle school students this is your moment! Boston’s Office of Emergency Management, is now accepting submissions for the Art for a Change Climate Showcase. Inspired by our Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP), this open call invites students to explore real climate challenges and turn their ideas into powerful works of art that imagine a safer, more resilient future.
