This work remains critical. As the housing shortage persists, we continue to grow and strengthen our partnerships across the state — with policymakers, communities, developers, and the banking industry — in a united effort to deliver meaningful solutions.
In this report, you’ll learn about these partnerships:
🔸 The longstanding public-private partnerships that our Homeownership Team is embedded within, supporting first-time homebuyer mortgage programs that address structural barriers to homeownership
🔸 The communities, housing authorities, and nonprofit partners that our Community Assistance Team works alongside to build local capacity and advance the creation of affordable homes
🔸 Our Rental Financing Team’s partnerships that support affordable housing development, strengthen communities, advance Transit-Oriented Development and Climate Ready Housing, and support emerging developers
🔸 The Center for Housing Data’s policy advisory work with state and local partners, as well as a new collaboration with Way Finders and the Western Massachusetts Housing Coalition to better understand development potential in Western Massachusetts
Housing is the foundation of a thriving community and the basis of everything we hold close to us. MHP will continue to think creatively, take strategic steps, and remain a trusted partner in the ongoing effort to create more housing and stronger communities.
