NSPC membership includes town managers and administrators, planning staff, and members of Planning Boards and Boards of Selectmen from the following nine communities: Burlington, Lynnfield, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Wi******er, and Woburn.

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is the regional planning agency for Metropolitan Boston. Our charge: use planning to improve the region's livability -- its prosperity, safety, health, and distinctive character. To that end, we offer to the municipalities in our region a wide range of planning services and group purchasing opportunities; and we act as a regional think tank, providing data, analysis, advocacy and a range of convening and collaborative opportunities.
