Last week our local planet fitness donated all their used machines to local departments. We are extremely grateful for the donation!
This will support our cardio training for many years, providing us with this opportunity helps us stay focused and healthy!!

Looking forward to Saturday. Fundraiser for Cherry Mountain Fire Department . Come out and support a great bunch of folks that work hard to keep us safe. Y'all killed the beef and cheddar Vidalia onion link hoagies today. We don't have many left for Sat. We will have pork, chicken, turkey, beans, red/white slaw, corn casserole, mac and cheese, brunswick stew, barbecue potatoes, pistachio nut cake, orange creamsicle cake, smokehouse chocolate cake and banana pudding. 8:30AM - Emergency Vehicle Display
9:00AM - Commemorative Music
10:00AM - Opening Remarks, Posting of the Colors, National Anthem, Prayer, Speech
11:00AM - Closing Remarks
11:30AM - Emergency Vehicle Display

In times like these is when communities come together! Departments act as one, and goals are met! As old as these structures are, this could have been a very different outcome, the swift response, quick arrival and operations established quickly is the reason these neighboring buildings are still standing!!!

Tactical Fleet Services

Another project completed.
This was purchased with grant funds as well as support from the foothills foundation.

This will serve our community well for many years, as it is now outfitted with lighting to be seen on and off the road, this vehicle will serve as a vital component for rescues in remote areas of our district, mutual aid, inclimate weather, bringing patients out, as well as fighting fires well off the road.
