🚨 Smoke Alarm Saturday Success! 🚨

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Smoke Alarm Saturday event a success!

Cherry Mountain Fire Department serves one of the largest fire districts in the county, covering approximately 66 square miles. Through this program, we were able to provide many families in our community with much-needed smoke alarms and improve home fire safety.

📊 Event Statistics:
Out of all the residences we entered
29 smoke alarms were installed today
6 homes had no smoke alarms in sleeping areas
4 homes had smoke alarms that were not working at all due to dead batteries

While these numbers are important, the best part of the day was meeting the families we serve. Seeing the smiles on the faces of children as firefighters visited their homes and interacted with them was just as meaningful as the installations themselves.
