Keep Bossier Beautiful

Keep Bossier Beautiful Our mission: to end litter, protect the environment & beautify the community. Join us! We love to get people passionate about combating litter in our community.

Litter Education & Prevention
Defining litter, identifying the causes, and reducing it by organizing cleanups, and promoting proper handling of discarded waste in our communities. Waste Reduction & Recycling
We get excited about the 3 R's:

Recycle: Turning something old into something new and useful. Reuse: Repurpose items or materials. Reduce: Find ways to reduce energy in and around the home

and find ways to reduce waste. Beautification & Community Greening
KBB works to improve the visual aspects of our communities by planting trees, and gardens throughout the parish, encourage neighborhoods to beautify and maintain their exteriors and highway and shoreline beautification.

🌊 Big news!

Keep Bossier Beautiful has been awarded a **$5,000 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Affiliate Grant** to support a large-scale regional waterway cleanup coming Sept. 12.

In partnership with Ozark Society, Bayou Chapter and Shreveport Green, we'll mobilize more than 150 volunteers to remove litter and debris from Cross Lake, Twelve Mile Bayou and Cypress Black Bayou/Red Chute while promoting long-term environmental stewardship throughout our region.

Grant funding will help support volunteer supplies, educational outreach and public awareness efforts that amplify the impact of this important project.

This project is about more than a one-day cleanup. It's a reminder that protecting our waterways and preventing litter is a shared responsibility that requires all of us working together to preserve the natural resources that make Northwest Louisiana such a special place to live, work and play.

Thank you to Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Office of Billy Nungesser Lt. Governor of Louisiana for investing in a cleaner, healthier future for our community.
