This technology rock star is a problem solver, a behind the scenes hero and now Bossier Schools’ first Gold Star recipient of 2023. Mallory Cooper makes people take notice as her fan base only continues to grow.

Just ask Haughton Middle School Counselor Nicole Addison who praises Cooper, saying, "we need more Coopers in the world. She is a bright light who shares joy and, dang, does she know her job!"

Today, we surprised our first Gold Star winner of the new year. Bossier Schools hit the jackpot with Mallory Cooper, a previous district Middle School Teacher of the Year, who is now Systems Analyst for the parish.

Our teachers, admins and district staff are off to a great start learning how to LevelUP their OnCourse skill set. Great sessions on PLC progress monitoring, rubric creation, standards reporting and assessment building are all underway.
