UPDATE:
Unfortunately, 4 of these sweet souls have crossed the rainbow bridge.
On a better note: We have a volunteer to help the other 4! They will be well cared for and will hopefully pull through. Like and follow us for future updates.

🥺🥺 8️⃣ Newborn pups in desperate need!! 🥺🥺
BOTTLE FEEDERS & DONATIONS NEEDED: puppy milk, bottles, miracle ni***es, colostrum, 💲💲
Ariel (momma) was found in Bossier parish and brought to us the day before yesterday. She was dirty and severely malnourished, but very sweet! She was sick this morning, and the vet determined she was very pregnant and trying to go into labor, but was too low on glucose to even move much, and certainly couldn't have the babies and survive. She had a c-section with 8 live puppies, and then had to have life-saving surgery - all this afternoon. & we don't know if she is going to make it! 😥😥 On top of the pregnancy and body condition, she had a bowel obstruction that caused the vet to have to fully open her intestines & remove a section. Part of the section he left is questionable, but she couldn't have more removed. Even if she does make it, she will not be able to take these babies back on. 😭
The babies WILL need around the clock feedings for 2-3 weeks. 🤯 We will provide heating pad, ni***es, syringes (bottles 🍼🍼), milk, kennel, towels, blankets, and anything else needed!
If you have experience 🍼🍼 bottle feeding, or you can take on every 2-hour feeding, we REALLY need your help❗️ They REALLY need your help‼️ If you haven't ever done this we can show you what to do, but please realize these babies are a little premature, and all bottle babies are extremely fragile and could pass away without notice or appearing sick. It is a hard thing to do!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to Hand In Paw - Friends of Bossier City Animal Control and Viking Drive Veterinary Hospital for helping us try to save Ariel! She certainly would've died before this evening without your help! Dr. Thomas and his team work tirelessly every day to provide top-notch 🏅 care to all their clients, but we severely taxed them this week with multiple sick and injured animals; and, then an added surgery that took hours, unexpectedly and unscheduled. They took it on without complaint and, as always, provided excellent care. 🏅🏅
