WED, June 3rd, 1pm - Flag Removal Community Event at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery. We will meet at the garage at 1pm and together depart in a methodical fashion to collect flags, return to the garage, roll and store. A great project!

Flag removal postponed to Wed.

Flag removal postponed to Wed.

Flag Removal scheduled for Monday, June 1st at 1:00 PM is CANCELLED. It is rescheduled for Wednesday, June 3rd at 1:00 PM.

The planting event scheduled for Monday, June 1st at 12:00 PM will still proceed! A little rain and dampness does not prevent us from planting new flowers and plants in our gardens.

Thank you for your patience as we work through these weather challenges.

Honoring All Who Served: National Guard, Reserves, and the N.H. Burial Equity Act 🇺🇸

Did you know that National Guard and Reserve soldiers are fully eligible for burial at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (NHSVC)?

While federal rules used to turn many away based on strict active-duty requirements, the New Hampshire Burial Equity Act changed that—ensuring anyone who puts on the uniform is granted the dignity they deserve.

📋 What You Need to Know:
Expanded Eligibility: Members of the Reserve Components are eligible if they were honorably discharged after completing at least their first term of service.

Family Inclusion: Spouses and dependents of eligible veterans are typically eligible for interment as well.

All Veterans Should Apply: The NHSVC reviews all cases to determine official eligibility.

🕊️ Why Pre-Application is Crucial
The NHSVC strongly urges veterans to pre-apply now. Confirming your eligibility ahead of time saves your family from the stress of tracking down military paperwork during a time of grief.

Once reviewed, the Boscawen office will issue an official Eligibility Certificate to keep with your records.

🛑 Take the Next Step
Submitting a pre-application directly to the Boscawen office is the best step you can take for yourself or a loved one.

🌐 Apply Online: Visit nhsvc.com (and check out the Burial Application and Eligibility & Operations pages).
