Annual seasonal closures June 1-Sept 30
• Visitor Center is air conditioned and will be open on weekends and holidays only from 9a-5p
• Limited campsites available at Borrego Palm Canyon campground on a first come first serve basis
• Vern Whitaker Horse camp and Tamarisk Grove campground will be closed

Did you know that earthquake faults are one of the reasons Anza-Borrego has wonderful palm oases? The fault line creates a crack in the earth that allows water to seep up.

Looking for a short hike with an overlook view? The William Kenyon Overlook trail is located on S3 originating at Yaqui Pass Primitive Camp. Reminder that temperatures are high. Start your adventure in the early morning. Be prepared with sun protection, extra water, and paper maps.
