Family Assistance Centers (FACs) are local resource centers for Service Members and their Families. The FAC staff provides information and referrals to local resources as well as state and federal military support programs. The FAC staff (Soldier & Family Readiness Specialist) are trained to understand the challenges associated with the military lifestyle. When challenges occur, you need timely an

d accurate information, compassion and reliable support. No matter what challenges arise, the military family can be assured that the Family Assistance Center will help with solutions.

Military kids in grades 1–12 can enter the Armed Services YMCA Art and Essay Contest now through July 6. Open to children of currently serving military (active duty, National Guard, or reserves), disabled veterans, and retirees with 20+ years of service. One child from each category and age range will receive an iPad.

We are a small veteran-run non-profit organization based in Forked River, NJ, seeking a motivated and dependable Office Receptionist / Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a mission-driven environment supporting veterans.

Responsibilities include:
• Answering phones and assisting visitors
• Coordinating transportation and scheduling
• Maintaining organized records and office operations
• Keeping the office clean, professional, and tidy
• Assisting with administrative and event-related tasks

Requirements:
• Proficient with computers and basic office software
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with veterans
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Schedule:
