Bordentown City Veterans Memorial Gala – Honoree Spotlight
On November 15th, we’ll gather at The Estate at Eagle Lake in Chesterfield for the Bordentown City Veterans Memorial Fundraising Gala — a night to honor service, sacrifice, and community.

Today, we highlight one of our honorees who will be recognized posthumously: Ernest “Frank” Wilcox.

Frank was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, a decorated Trenton Fire Department Captain, and a beloved member of our Bordentown City Veterans Memorial Committee. His life was defined by service — to his country, his community, and his countless friends.

Whether leading rescue missions, organizing pub crawls, or simply making sure the beers were cold, Frank brought people together with humor, heart, and unwavering loyalty. Even during his battle with cancer, he showed up — for work, for friends, and for the causes he believed in.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Frank’s legacy and supporting the memorial he helped shape. Tickets are on sale now — let’s make this night unforgettable.

Please join us this Saturday, May 28, at 11 am for the Annual Memorial Day Service to honor our fallen heroes.

This year we will be returning to a full program, including music by both our High School and Middle School bands and choirs, the presentation of wreaths, a rifle salute and remarks. We’d like to thank the American Legion for their efforts once again to bring the community together for a fitting tribute to our fallen heroes.

As always, the service will take place at the Veterans Memorial, located at Farnsworth Ave and Veterans Way.
