As EMS Week comes to a close we want to take time to recognize the incredible staff we have here at Upper Chichester EMS.

We are blessed to have some of the best and brightest running our trucks.

Over this last quarter we have had incredible life saves on pts who suffered Cardiac Arrests in the field and have since been discharged and are now home with their families thanks to the care provided in the pre-hospital setting.

We have also had multiple Life Giving calls this year in which successful child birth has been performed in the field with outstanding outcomes for both the mother and baby.

There have also been countless calls that would have resulted in extremely poor outcomes for patients had it not been for immediate intervention by our crews.

Also as many of you were able to join in on the fun, last week we held our first annual Upper Chichester Health and Safety Fair. The efforts by Eilís Rae Anne, Alexis Visco, Angie Wilson, Hannah Tully, and so many others behind the scenes making a massive success! We cant wait for many more in the years to come.

Please take this time to thank your local EMS providers as we are so lucky to have the incredible crews that we have.

Many providers not pictured due to them responding to calls at time of pictures being taken

Also want to take time to recognize all ems providers that assist us in surrounding townships and world wide as this is a demanding and sometimes thankless job that takes a great person to do.

A Quick Note for Our Upper Chichester Neighbors

Some of you may have received a postcard from the Aston Ambulance Authority. We wanted to clear things up: that postcard doesn't apply to Upper Chichester residents.

You might see an AAA unit in the township from time to time through mutual aid, the same way we help neighboring agencies during busy times.

But Boothwyn EMS is your primary ambulance service. We've been here for decades, and we're here to stay. Here's what that means for you:

Non-profit, sustainable EMS model, built around the needs of our community
24/7/365 Advanced Life Support coverage
A transport-capable Mobile Intensive Care Unit staffed and ready
And our model keeps things simple: no yearly fees, no surprise charges. You only receive a bill if you use our services, and we always bill your insurance first.

We're proud to serve over 17,000 residents and the local businesses that call Upper Chichester home.

If you'd like to go the extra mile in supporting your local EMS, memberships are available to help cover any balance billing (the gap between the ambulance cost and what insurance pays). Every membership strengthens the service we can provide to our community.

🌟 DELCO GIVES IS HERE! 🌟

🚑 Help Us Keep Life-Saving Care on the Road
Every day, our team at Boothwyn Fire Company Ambulance responds to emergencies in our community - providing critical, life-saving care when seconds matter most. Last year our dedicated career Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians responded to over 3,300 calls for help. As a not-for-profit ambulance service, we rely on the support of people like you to continue operating. Rising costs for medical supplies, vehicles, and equipment make it increasingly challenging to keep our ambulances fully staffed and ready.

💙 Your donation can make a real difference:
• $25 helps keep our station and vehicles clean and disinfected
• $50 helps to pay for training classes
• $75 helps stock essential medical supplies
• $100+ helps maintain life-saving equipment

No contribution is too small - every dollar helps us answer the next call for help.
