2025 Budget/Sewer Rates Public Hearing
The Boothbay Harbor Sewer District will be holding 2025 Budget and Proposed 2025 Sewer Rate Public Hearing on December 17, 2024. The hearings will start at 5:00 P.M. at the District’s office on 27 Sea Street in Boothbay Harbor.
All ratepayers are urged to attend.

Effective January 1, 2025
1. Wastewater Rates Charges FY 2025
Basic Facilities Charge per REU (BFC) ≤600 ft3 $111.67 per quarter
Volumetric Rates – 600 cubic feet per quarter allowance
Metered Single Family Residential over 600 ft3 $15.65/100 ft3/quarter
Metered Multi-Family – per REU over 600 ft3 $15.65/100 ft3/quarter
Unmetered Single Family Residential (based on 1169 avg/qtr) $200.72/quarter Unmetered Multi-Family – per REU (based on 1169 avg/qtr) $200.72/quarter/REU
Seasonal Residential Rates Basic Charge per REU ≤1200 ft3 $223.34 per season
Volumetric Rates – 1200 cubic feet per season allowance
Metered Single Family Residential over 1200 ft3 $15.65/100 ft3/season
Metered Multi-Family Residential over 1200 ft3 $15.65/100 ft3/season
Unmetered Single Family Residential (based on 2050 cu ft avg) $356.37/season
