***Storm Update #2***
Well the prediction was 1/2” over night. That has turned into 4”. Please use caution while traveling the roads. They are narrow due to the high banks along the roadside. We will be working to push the banks back however it will take a little. We have to basically cut the tops of the bankings off with wing plows to make room for the snow that keeps falling back into the roadways. Due to the incoming storm, the Town of Boothbay Harbor is putting in a parking ban from 12:00AM on 2-16-25 until 8:00AM on 2-17-25. If you need to park please use any of the town parking lots. If you have to travel please use caution and give patiance to plow operators. Even when the storm is over we still have several hours of work to do to get the roads safe for travel. Morning snow update. Currently we have about 9” on the ground. Snow is still coming down pretty good. We will probably get close to a foot out of this one. Grab a coffee, throw another log on the fire and enjoy the senery outside. Crews are out clearing the roads so please use caution when you meet up with a plow truck. The roads are getting a little narrow due to the amount of snowfall this last week.

With our third snow storm of the week approaching we will be putting a parking ban into effect from 2-9-25 at 6:00AM until 6:00PM. Please use the town parking lots to park your vehicle. As always stay safe and please drive with caution especially when approaching the plow trucks on the road.

With the incoming storm approaching we will be having a parking ban in effect from 2-6-25 at 2:00PM until 2-7-25 at 7:00AM. Please feel free to park in the Town Office parking lots and Footbridge parking lots where the yellow storm parking signs are located.
As always please drive with caution and allow room for the plow trucks out working the storm. Everyone stay safe.

With our first real snowstorm of the season approaching us, the Town of Boothbay Harbor will be putting a parking ban into effect from 10:00 PM tonight 1/19/2025 until 12:00 PM tomorrow 1/20/2025. You can park in any of the municipal lots where the yellow park during storm signs are.As always if you have to travel during the storm please drive safe and allow room for crews working to keep the roads clear.

Please be aware today 7-18-24 and tomorrow 7-19-24 paving will be conducted on Lobster Cove Road and Atlantic Avenue. Traffic in the work area will be down to one lane. Flaggers will do there best to get you to and from your destination. If traveling through the area please be patient when driving around the work crews.

Due to the incoming storm there will be a parking ban in place from 11:00 PM Wednesday April 3, 2024 until 10:00 AM Friday April 5, 2024. Please have all vehicles removed from the side of the streets and from downtown parking spots. You can park in any of the three town parking lots located by the Footbridge, behind the Post Office and at the Town Office. In the event you need to travel during the storm please use caution and allow room for crews plowing the roads.

The weather service is predicting a very high tide (13.6ft) today due to spring tides and storm surge from the storm. High tide today is at 11:35 AM. More than likely the footbridge parking lot will be flood and hour before and an hour after high tide. We recommend that anyone who usually parks in the footbridge parking lot to remove their vehicles from the lot during these times so they do not get damaged. Stay safe.
