Through our Financial Opportunity Center® program, individuals work with a financial coach to create a plan toward financial freedom. Our coaching model works to help individuals navigate the complexities around increasing their income, decreasing expenses, and acquiring assets. We also offer Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), special savings accounts that help people reach their goals by adding extra matching funds to what they save.
So far this year, 27 people have increased their income, 25 have increased their savings, and 17 unemployed people have been placed in jobs! This long-term work requires ongoing support, and our coaches are there for it.
