Good evening Boonville families, this is Mrs. Calhoun calling with information for the upcoming week. Thank you to everyone that supported our school by participating in our American Made PTA fundraiser. There will be no school on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. On Tuesday we will have our 1st Wendy's Spirit Night for this school year. Please come out to Wendy's in Jonesville from 5:00-8:00 and let them know you are there to support Boonville Elementary. Our School Improvement Team will meet on Wednesday at 2:45 in the Media Center. Our school attendance is looking great this year. Parents please remember that if your child is absent, to send in their excuse within 3 days of their return. Thank you for your continued support of our school. I hope you enjoy the rest of your long weekend!

Gracias a todos los que apoyaron a nuestra escuela participando en la recaudación de fondos de la PTA "Hecho en Estados Unidos". No habrá clases el lunes por el feriado del Día del Trabajo. El martes tendremos nuestra primera Noche del Espíritu Escolar de Wendy's de este año. Por favor, vengan a Wendy's en Jonesville de 5:00 a 8:00 p. m. y háganles saber que están allí para apoyar a la Escuela Primaria Boonville. Nuestro Equipo de Mejora Escolar se reunirá el miércoles a las 2:45 p. m. en el Centro de Medios. La asistencia escolar está siendo excelente este año. Padres, recuerden que si su hijo falta, deben enviar su justificación dentro de los 3 días posteriores a su regreso. 📚🚌 THE BOOK BUS IS ROLLING THROUGH TOWN! 🚌📚

We need your help! ❤️ Our students in PreK–5th grade need some great books to take home!

📖 The Book Bus randomly selects 75 books to give away, which means we need about 285 additional books so EVERY student can receive one! (Chapter & graphic novels are a big hit with our older grades!)

⏰ We have ONE MONTH to make it happen!

Have new or gently used, age-appropriate books? We’d love to have them!

📚 Let’s fill those shelves and put a book in every student’s hands! LET’S DO IT! 💛🖤
