The Tun Tavern Leathernecks are building something special in Boonville, and we need your help.
Our Marine Corps League Detachment( # 961) is raising funds to build a permanent home right here in our community. This will be a heated, ADA-accessible facility where we can hold our monthly meetings, host public events, and create a space dedicated to preserving Marine Corps history and honoring those who served.
This building will also feature a museum-style interior with memorabilia and displays, and it will be located along the snowmobile trail and proposed ATV trail, giving us the opportunity to welcome visitors and host future fundraising events.
For years, we’ve made do without a permanent space. Now we have the opportunity to build something lasting. A place for Marines. A place for veterans. A place for the community.
