District 8 held their quarterly district meeting for District 8 at the home of Thoma Tuttle Post 52 in Boonville on Sunday Sept 13.
The following individuals were sworn in to their offices.
District 8 Commander Austin Teel, Vice Commander Cecil Goodin, Adjutant John Seward and Asst. Sgt. at Arms Steven Sisson.

Following the meeting the Legionnaires and Auxiliary were treated to a meal provided by the members of Post 52.

Swearing in the new officers was District Judge Advocate Brian Sapp.

The schedule for District 8 meetings for 2027 is as follows:

Jan. 10 @ Post 5 in Jefferson City. Oratorical judging 11am.

Apr. 11 @ Post 424 Hartsburg 1pm.

Jun 6 @ Post 624 Sunrise Beach Memorial for past members 11am.

Sept. 12 @ Post 52 Boonville 1pm.

Most meetings conclude with a meal.

🇺🇸 We started off this morning with a salute and somber moment for victims of 9/11.
We ended on a high note with food, fun and prizes. 🎁
Thank you players for a successful tournament allowing us to be able to help many veterans and community members. 🌹
